Harrison Adams
Harrison is a composer, producer, audio engineer, writer, and award-nominated sound designer. He works as a live sound engineer and theatrical designer, maintains a blog at patterandhum.substack.com, plays piano, makes beats, and dreams of unlikely futures. He holds a Master’s degree in Music Technology and is interested in music as a community-building practice, a locus of political imagination, a human-centered form of emotional expression and connection. His work in ambient-adjacent and experimental genres is deeply inspired by the natural world, ecology, and mindfulness.
Phuong Adams
Phuong is a co-founder of Patter & Hum, an editor, creator, and podcast host. “Daily Em by Emily” explores personal stories within a global perspective, tying together strands of food, family, and travel into a thematic tapestry. “Này Nọ Show” is a companion Vietnamese language show about the experience of young people living far from family—and at the same time putting down new roots in New York City.

We offer recording, mixing, custom sound design and arrangements, tutorial sessions and consultations. Packages of studio time with no engineer are available at an affordable rate whenever our schedule allows.
